Grand Hyatt Hotel Buffet Restaurant Mezza9 Closing Permanently After 24 Years

The restaurant will serve customers for the last time this weekend.

After 24 years in business, Grand Hyatt Singapore’s buffet restaurant Mezza9 is closing for good on Jun 5. This comes after the hotel began renovation works for a massive facelift, which is expected to be completed next year.

Live station buffet

Named after its location on the hotel’s mezzanine floor, the restaurant is well-known for its brunch buffet and “show kitchens”, which serve up nine different types of cuisines like dim sum, sushi, western grill, sustainably-sourced seafood and desserts. There’s also a martini bar as well as a gin & tonic bar.

Final weekend

Mezza9 will be offering a Dinner Buffet today (Jun 4) at $108 per adult ($178/pax with free-flow alcohol). For its last day of service tomorrow, there will be a Sunday Brunch Buffet ($288 per adult with alcohol; $188 without) and Dinner Buffet ($178/ $198 per adult with alcohol; $108 without).

A “brand new dining concept” is taking over

According to Grand Hyatt Singapore, Mezzanine will be taken over by a yet-to-be-unveiled “brand new dining concept” in 2023. The hotel’s Italian restaurant Pete’s Place and poolside eatery Oasis will also be closed till further notice during the revamp.
