HK actor Gallen Lo and wife are on such good terms with his ex wife, they even have meals together

Gallen's ex-wife Clare also defended him when tabloids claimed the actor abandoned her for his current wife.

The ex-wife of Hong Kong actor Gallen Lo, 60, Clare Fong, made a rare appearance on social media recently, to the surprise of netizens. 

In the post, Clare poses with Hong Kong theatre actor Lin Zequn, who held his farewell concert over the weekend. Clare shared her best wishes for Zequn, who’s moving to Australia.

Gallen, who is now based in China, was married to Clare from 1998 to 2008.

According to reports, Gallen and Clare met while working together in TVB. They tied the knot in 1998 in Canada, and Louis Koo and Jessica Hsuan were part of their wedding entourage. The couple welcomed their son, Alex in 1999.

Gallen would later reveal that their marriage broke down because of a lack of communication. At that time, Gallen had begun focusing on his career in China, and often stayed there for long periods of time.

A year after divorcing Clare, Gallen married Chinese actress Su Yan, 48. They a daughter who is now nine.

Clare and Gallen remain on good terms. When media reports came out alleging that Gallen had “abandoned” Clare and Alex, she spoke to the media, clarifying that her ex-husband has been supporting both families.

She also added that Gallen increased the amount of alimony after their son started going to high school. Gallen also pays for their son's school fees and living expenses in Canada.

That's not all. Clare said she would go out for meals with Gallen and Su Yan, and praised the latter for being easygoing.
