We can't say we didn't see this coming.

After years of speculation, not to mention countless articles about their marriage status, Huang Xiaoming, 44, and Angelababy, 32, have finally announced their divorce.

The stars, who tied the knot in 2015, made their divorce social media official today (Jan 28) by posting the same message on their respective Weibo accounts.

They're finally confirming it

“Grateful for everything [that happened in] the past, [we’ll] still be family in the future,” the message read.

The ex-couple also tagged each other’s Weibo handles in their posts, making things extra clear.

The personal work studios of both stars also released a statement shortly after, confirming that Xiaoming and Angelababy have split on good terms, and will be co-parenting their son, five-year-old Little Sponge.

Xiaoming and Angelababy went public with their relationship in 2014, before tying the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in Oct 2015.

They welcomed their son in 2017.

Yet another celeb couple bites the dust

Reports that their marriage was in trouble started in June 2019 when netizens realised that Angelababy was no longer wearing her engagement ring.

In April 2021, Xiaoming, Angelababy and their son were spotted out together for the first time since 2018.

However, divorce rumours continued to swirl since Xiaoming and Angelababy appeared to have no direct contact with each other during that outing.
