Zoe Tay encountered (more than) a few monkeys on her hiking trail

Besides posting a few well-lit, scenic shots from her hiking trip to Treetop Trail @ MacRitchie, Ah Jie also shared several photos of the monkeys she ran into on the way.

A short clip of her standing on a bridge while being flanked by the primates got us going “wow so brave”.

“Organising happiness is a mood. A type of natural attitude to stay motivated,” wrote Zoe in her captions.

Nurul Aini’s son, Shan, got stung by a bee

The actress documented the aftermath of her son being stung by a bee in school.

Her cheeky 12-year-old even took the opportunity to reference the famously meme-d Amber Heard quote (“My dog stepped on a bee”), except that he actually got stung by a bee.

She also shared that the bee sting happened while her son was in school, and he got stung while trying to swat the bee out of his hair. While waiting to see the doctor, she humourously recounted how Shan’s classmates were trying to help him get rid of the bee ‘cos it was still stuck in his hair after he tried removing it with his hand, which was how he got stung in the first place.

Elvin Ng embarked on a solo trip to New York

The actor, who wanted to step out of his comfort zone, challenged himself with living the “New York student life” during his trip. However, when he got to the hostel he booked, he realised that it came with “NO bedsheet, NO pillow, NO nothing”, just a plain ol’ bed for him to rest on.

Reflecting on how he might’ve have gotten more than he bargained for, Elvin left us with this quote: “Anything that shakes up that comfort, even if I (sic) could potentially make your life better, is inherently scary.”

Here’s hoping he has a safe stay!
