Jackson Wang’s reaction after a fan yells that she has his 'son' is so funny

Son? What son?

Hong Kong star and member of Korean boyband GOT7, Jackson Wang, 29, found himself in a very confusing exchange with a fan recently, after she yelled to him that she's holding his “son”.

In the clip, which was posted earlier this week, the fan is one of about a dozen crowding around the idol. With a plush doll in her hand, she yelled repeatedly: “Your son, your son” to Jackson, who was focused on making his way out of the crowd.

At one point, she managed to make her way closer to Jackson, before going : “Darling, this is your son, isn’t he cute?”

Jackson had zero intentions of interacting with the fan, and for good reason.

Though it seemed like the star, who’s usually really nice to his fans, had no intention of acknowledging them (more on this later), Jackson couldn’t help but to let out a confused: “My son?” as he walked off.

Fans and netizens had mixed reactions to the clip. Many were amused at Jackson’s clearly puzzled face, while others couldn’t help but cringe after watching the video.

“[I felt] so much second-hand embarrassment that I don’t even know what to say,” one netizen wrote.

Another laughed: “I think Jackson almost wanted to ask the fan if she’s taken her medicine yet.”

Others were more critical of the fan who uploaded the video, with some sharing that she appeared to be a sasaeng (Korean for 'stalker') fan.

“Don’t encourage the behaviour of such so-called fans. How can this be considered a ‘coincidental meeting’ when they’ve followed [Jackson] all the way to his hotel and even the lift entrance?” a fan questioned.

“This behaviour is too much, have some basic respect [for Jackson], will you?” another fan wrote.
