Johnny Depp Wanted To Submit Amber Heard Nude Photos As Evidence, According To Unsealed Court Documents

Unsealed documents from Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's defamation trial showed his team tried to submit the actress' nude photos to evidence, while her lawyers suggested the actor suffered from erectile dysfunction.

Johnny Depp allegedly wanted to use nude photos of Amber Heard as evidence in their defamation trial.

The Depp-vs-Heard saga took a nasty turn over the weekend when more than 6,000 pages of evidence excluded from the high-profile libel trial —  which saw the Aquaman actress ordered to pay her ex-husband $10.35 million (S$15 mil) in compensatory and punitive damages after a jury in Virginia ruled she had defamed him when she wrote a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about being a victim of domestic abuse—  unsealed.

The documents, which were viewed by The Daily Beast, shed light on each side's legal strategy and the heaps of evidence that were disregarded.

Before the trial, Heard's lawyers argued to have a number of "irrelevant personal matters" excluded from the defamation trial.

"Mr. Depp inappropriately seeks to introduce evidence of the following Irrelevant Personal Matters: (1) nude pictures of Amber Heard; (2) Amber Heard's sister Whitney's reality show video; (3) Whitney and Amber's past romantic relationships; (4) Amber's brief stint as an exotic dancer years before she met Mr Depp and Mr Depp attempting to frivolously and maliciously suggest or imply that Ms Heard was at one time an escort."

Elsewhere, Depp’s team fought hard to exclude any “references to and evidence regarding Marilyn Manson” because they argued it would “smear Mr Depp under a guilty by association theory.”

Depp and Manson, who have been close friends for nearly 30 years, were said to share insults of Heard in numerous text messages.

In a 2016 text, Manson compared his current wife, Lindsay Usich, to Heard, wrote “I got an amber 2.0” and also “Lindsay just puled an amber on me…please delete”.

Depp responds, “I been reading A LOT of material on that and sociopathic behavior…it is f***ing real my brother!! My ex-c—t is goddamn TEXTBOOK!!!” according to the document.

Then Manson, in an apparent reference to a 2016 incident where the police were called to Depp and Heard’s Los Angeles apartment, wrote, “I got a serious police amber type scenarios with L’s family. I’m f***ing stressing. I don’t know if you are back but I need asylum somewhere because I think the cops might be headed my way,” the filing states.

Heard’s lawyers also alleged that Depp and Manson went on “drug binges” together, including in the days before the actress arrived in Australia and the two got in a now-infamous fight that ended with the actor losing the tip of his right middle finger.

Depp's team also blocked Heard'sd team to submit portions of the Black Mass actor's medical records as evidence.

According to Entertainment Tonight, his lawyers claimed: "[Ms Heard] wants a circus, and clearly intends to take this trial down a number of unnecessarily salacious rabbit holes, including and especially with respect to Mr Depp's medical history."

The documents stated the Danish Girl' actress submitted a medication list into evidence that included "Nexium, Cialis and Valtrex" and Depp's lawyers stated Heard claimed her ex-husband suffered "erectile dysfunction" and she "suggested that that might somehow be a motivation for abuse", but they felt she was just trying to embarrass him in court.
