Korea’s Jeju Island Has A Life-Sized ‘Gingerbread’ House Cafe That Sells Cute Cookies
Add it to your Korea VTL holiday itinerary now.
Those of you who are heading to Korea for a holiday, lucky you (just ensure you’re well-prepared for Covid-19 while you’re there). And if Jeju Island is on your bucket list, there’s an adorable bakery cafe to check out while you’re there.

A real-life gingerbread house
Opened last year, Elisha Cookie House is made to look like a life-sized fairytale gingerbread house complete with an icing-topped roof.

Here’s what it looks like inside
It’s like what we imagine the gingerbread house in Hansel and Gretel to be like.

3 of 7What it sells
Unsurprisingly, the cafe specialises in gingerbread man cookies.

Gingerbread men in different flavours
The munchkins are offered in a variety of ’gram-worthy flavours, such as chocolate-dipped versions topped with Oreos, dried fruits and crushed cereal bits.

House-shaped takeaway boxes
The cafe also sells customisable gingerbread men, where you can decorate your own cookie that’s packed in its own cardboard house. Super cute.

Limited seating
While it’s ostensibly a takeaway shop, there appears to be a table or two for dine-in customers to savour cookies and coffee on the spot.

Winterland wonder
If you happen to visit during wintertime, the house looks even more adorable surrounded by fresh snow.
