Massively popular South Korean girl group Blackpink is coming to our shores for a concert next May, but their Oreo collaboration will be in your area first.

The band — which comprises singers Jennie Kim, Lalisa Manobal, Jisoo Kim and Rosé — has teamed up with US snack giant Mondelez to launch a limited-edition Oreo pack.

Other than Oreos, Mondelez is also the parent company behind famed brands like Cadbury, Daim, Philadelphia cream cheese and Ritz crackers.

What to expect 

Unsurprisingly, the iconic Oreo cookie has been given the Blackpink makeover and will come in black and pink. Choose between black-hued chocolate cookies filled with pink vanilla cream, or switch it up with a black-dyed vanilla cream filling sandwiched between pale pink choc cookies.

The Oreos are slated to launch first in Indonesia this month, followed by the Philippines and Thailand next January, and Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea and Singapore in February 2023.

You can preorder it now for Singapore delivery

For Singapore Blink fans, you can preorder the Oreos as a bundle via Mondelez’s official Shopee store, starting from Dec 12.

According to Shopee’s rep, customers who preorder the Oreos on Dec 12 will stand to win a Pink Venom album T-shirt, sweatpants and baseball cap.

The bundle comes with two Oreo multipacks and two tubes of Oreos, all stored in a collectible themed box with Blackpink photocards. An unspecified “limited quantity” is available and the bundle price will be revealed on launch day itself, so fastest fingers first.
