Local and overseas stars turn up for singer Boon Hui Lu's wedding at the Fullerton Hotel
The 30-year-old singer-songwriter and her 31-year-old musican husband have many famous friends.
After nearly a decade of being together, local singer-actress Boon Hui Lu and her Singaporean music producer fiancé, Cheong Waii Hoong, 31, tied the knot over the weekend (Oct 7) at the Fullerton Hotel.
The private affair was meant for close friends and family and we spotted a few familiar faces on Instagram via their wedding hashtag #bhoong.
Among the guests were Hui Lu’s co-stars from upcoming Mediacorp drama Till The End. We spotted Romeo Tan, Kym Ng, Zhu Houren and Jeremy Chan, whose date was his wife Jesseca Liu.
Jesseca and Hui Lu are also labelmates under HIM International.
The wedding was also attended by fellow local singers Joanna Dong, Hong Junyang, Olivia Ong, Kenny Khoo aka Qiu Fengze, and Jeff Ng, along with YES 933 DJs, Hazelle Teo and Kunhua.
Also seen at the nuptials were Taiwanese singer Janice Yan and Machi Didi Andrew Chou.
The newlyweds also performed 'Everything Has Changed' by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. They later revealed in an Instagram post that it was the first song they sang together back in 2014.
In the same post, Hui Lu also thanked family and friends, saying that the promise they made to each other as a couple is never ending:
“From today on, we each have one more person in our life — another person on our mind, to share things with and to face the future with, regardless of good or bad. I think we are ready. Wish us a happy marriage and a blissful one always".
