At 9pm tonight (Jun 6), you can order durians like Mao Shan Wang, D13 Red Prawn and Golden Phoenix from Mediacorp’s The Wonder Shop via a live stream on the shop’s Facebook page and MeWatch.

Love 972 DJ Karyn Wong and singer Sugie Phua will be hosting the live stream at Geylang stall Durian 36, where they will showcase the various types of durians on offer and educate customers on the myths and preconceptions about the spiky fruit. (Incidentally, Durian 36 is also our senior food editor’s go-to stall when she is craving a durian fix).

What to expect

Other than durians, customers can also order cooling mangosteens and fresh top cut coconuts.

Free delivery

There is free next-day delivery for those who spend a minimum of $95. Every $95 spent also gets you a free 340g portion of fresh cut watermelon (worth $4.90).

For orders below $95, a delivery charge of $9.50 applies per location. Delivery excludes Tuas, Sentosa island and army camps.
