Miriam Yeung Relocates Family To Shanghai, Enrols 9-Year-Old Son In $60K-A-Year Top School
The singer joins fellow Hongkong stars like Jordan Chan and Ada Choi, whose kids are also schooling there.
Like many Hongkong stars, singer-actress Miriam Yeung has been working a lot in the mainland lately.
It all started when the 47-year-old and her hubby, Hongkong PR guru Real Ting, 42, participated in Chinese reality show Viva La Romance 3 in 2019. Most recently, Miriam competed in talent show Singing With Legends 3 and also guested on acting competition show Hi Director.
With so much of her work based in China now, it's said that Miriam and her family — she and Real have a nine-year-old son Torres — relocated to Shanghai earlier this year.
The Tings moved to Shanghai in April
It's said that the family made their big move in April and Miriam has enrolled her nine-year-old son Torres in one of the city's top schools. According to reports, his school fees are around 280,000 yuan (S$60K) a year.
Real, whose family was originally from Shanghai, seems to be settling into life there pretty well and has even been spotted out meeting up with pals like Carina Lau for a run.

Jordan Chan and his family are also based in Shanghai
Besides Miriam, Hongkong stars like Ada Choi and Yumiko Cheng have also settled in Shanghai and enrolled their kids in schools there.
Then there's celeb couple Jordan Chan and Cherrie Ying who are also based in Shanghai now. And just like Torres, their eight-year-old son Jasper also attends a top international school with school fees costing as much as 280,000 yuan (S$60.2K) a year as well.
