Netizens Shoot Down Report Claiming Angelababy & Huang Xiaoming Divorced ‘Cos He “Didn’t Want [Her]”

Fans say the actress had not done any interviews recently and the report is likely to be fake.

Eagle-eyed netizens have pointed out that a report which alleges that Chinese stars Huang Xiaoming, 44, and Angelababy, 32, divorced because the actor wanted out of their marriage is likely fabricated.

The contentious report had even gone as far as to post a screenshot of a tearful interview that Angelababy supposedly gave on a Chinese programme recently where she revealed the cause of the break-up.

According to the report, when the topic of divorce was brought up, Angelababy broke down saying: “Huang Xiaoming didn’t want me anymore.”

“I tried to save our marriage. But to give him face, I felt aggrieved and even then, it didn’t move him."

She added that she changed a lot for Xiaoming but still could not mend their relationship.

Her revelation sparked a lot of discussion online, which led sharp netizens to point out that the screenshot was taken from Angelababy’s appearance on Chinese reality show Heartbeat Signal 4 last year and that the actress had not done any interviews recently.

They also said that the report is likely to be faked using the manipulated screenshot and that someone is spreading rumours to stir gossip about their divorce again.
