For those who’ve been religiously following the show, you’d know that life has dealt poor Sophie (played by Bonnie Loo, 27) a really bad hand.

After accepting a proposal from Satay King (played by Ian Fang, 31), the couple decided to break the news to Sophie’s mum, who basically reacted really strongly and even made Sophie promise not to tie the knot.

Despite all that, the couple decides to press on with their plans to get married.

However, tragedy strikes on the day of their wedding. Sophie’s mum unexpectedly suffers a heart attack and dies.

Wrecked with guilt, Sophie breaks down as she feels like she caused her mum’s death by going through with the wedding even after seeing how strongly her mum reacted to the news.

Just look at how devastated poor Sophie looks. No wonder Bonnie's a four-time Best Supporting Actress nominee at the Star Awards.

Which is probably why, Paige Chua, 40, who plays Sophie’s boss and good friend, Bao Qingtian, took to her IG with a very touching message for Sophie on Feb 9.

And here’s what Paige wrote in her caption: “Dear Sophie,

Seeing you so upset is really hard for Boss Jiejie too. I really miss your fiery, straightforward words, and your super infectious laughter, and, and… your cute smile… Without you around, Seoul Toast has become much quieter. Without you, I’ve become way more bored. Get well soon, okay.

After seeing Paige’s post, a number of netizens left comments praising Bonnie’s acting.

“Our hearts hurt after seeing [Sophie crying] too,” one netizen commented, while another wrote: "It's so heartbreaking seeing how Sophie cried and Qing Tian tried to console her”.

Bonnie also replied to Paige’s post, writing: “Ah, my boss made me cry again, thank you for accompanying me through this period filled with endless tears and sadness. Love you.”
