Pan Lingling Says She Can “Finally Step Down” As Her Younger Son’s Chauffeur After He Does Well For His A-Levels
In a reply to a netizen, the actress says Kynaston’s results are “up to his expectations (sic)”.
Looks like Pan Lingling and Huang Shinan have one less thing to worry about.
On Feb 22, Lingling, 51, took to her Instagram to share a picture with her younger son, Kynaston, 20.
Or well, half of the back of Kynaston’s head.
Anyway, in her caption, she revealed that the results for the A-Level examinations were released that day, and that she’d waited with Kynaston to see how he did.

"We had mixed feelings,” she mused, revealing that like many Singaporean parents, she had engaged tuition teachers and enrolled her sons in tuition centres to help them excel in their studies. Lingling's older son Beckham is now 22.
Apart from that, both Lingling and Shinan “even became chauffeurs” for their boys.
“Sometimes we have to buy lunch for them to eat in the car! [We were] always busy with our two sons from PSLE to O Level to A Level (sic)” she wrote.
This calls for a celebration
Though they were “always nervous” whenever it was results day, Kynaston's score card appeared to be more than satisfactory for them, though Lingling did not reveal how her son did.
In a reply to a netizen’s comment, however, the actress did share that Kynaston's results were "up to his expectations (sic)”.
"When my son got the results, I screamed, not only for him, but also for myself. My husband and I are relieved! Today, my husband and I can finally step down as his driver's role (sic),” she went on to write, adding: "Here, I also want to pay tribute to all the great Moms & Dads.”
A number of netizens and celebs left comments congratulating Kynaston, at the same time praising Lingling and Shinan for their hard work.
However, there’s just one thing we couldn't help but wonder: wouldn’t Lingling and Shinan be ferrying Kynaston, who’s currently doing his National Service, to and fro from his army camps now?
Will they be 'relieved' of their personal driver duties soon?
