The Sanrio realm has kept all of us fascinated and charmed over the years, no matter if you’re a kid collecting plushies or an adult working in corporate. When it comes to Sanrio, you mostly know of the bigger names like My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and of course Hello Kitty.

However, some of its characters are being phased out – including Charmmykitty, also known as Hello Kitty’s cat, Kirimichan, a piece of salmon sashimi, Mentakun, a cute eccentric octopus who is also a self-proclaimed idol, Gyudechama, the girl version of Gudetama (and with the signature butt crack too, and My Melody's cousin, Littleforestfellow (full list of departing characters here).
