Ah Boys To Men Star Maxi Lim Got Married In A Suit With The Words 'Eat Bro' Emblazoned On It
His groomsmen all wore shirts with the same print too.
Remember when Ah Boys to Men star Maxi Lim uploaded those gorgeous pre-wedding snaps earlier this month? At that time, we were still wondering when his actual wedding would be.
Looks like we didn't have to wait long. But first, on March 26, the 33-year-old actor and one-time MMA champ, who got engaged to influencer Lizy Teo on Feb 22, announced that was postponing his wedding bash.
Definitely not an easy decision to postpone our wedding this weekend, he wrote. But [my wife] Liz and myself decided that this is the most socially responsible thing to do. Our guests' health and peace comes first.
He continued, Meanwhile, let us practice proper hygiene and avoid crowded places. Everybody plays a part in this. Together, we can defeat COVID-19.
Then on Sunday (Mar 29), he and Lizy tied the knot in a small ceremony in a hotel. Maxi's best men were his Ah Boys To Men buddies Noah Yap, Joshua Tan, Wang Weiliang and Tosh Zhang. Fun fact: All five actors were the stars of the original ABTM movie in 2012, and have remained close pals since then.
In case you were wondering about the print on their outfits... Yup, those are the words 'Eat bro', which is the phrase that Maxi almost always writes when he comments on his friends' posts on social media, emblazoned all over.
Talk about making a statement on your wedding day.
