Like his pal Joshua Tan, actor Maxi Lim went from Ah Boy to Soon-To-Be-Married Man when he proposed to influencer Lizy Teo while dressed in a Kylo Ren costume last month. Yesterday (Mar 11), the couple shared photos from their gorgeous pre-wedding photo shoot, and ah boy, do they look good.

According to their geotags, the shoot was done in Singapore, which came as a surprise to us since the photos look like they were shot in Bali or something.

On the shoot, Lizy wrote: “You know how to create something sick? Just put a bunch of talented/ goal oriented and supportive people together. Took these awhile back and would love to share it with you guys.”

Apart from the heartfelt congratulations pouring in from their friends, some of Maxi’s celeb pals did not forget to tease him. Fellow Ah Boy Charlie Goh, for one, commented on Lizy’s post with this curious message: “Can’t wait for Eaten Lim”, to which the bride-to-be responded with a heart eyes emoji. In case you don't know, Maxi often comments on his pals' posts with the phrase Eat bro , which may have something to do with what Charlie wrote.

Beatrice Chia, on the other hand, couldn’t quite believe how amazing the couple looked and commented on Maxi’s post, “Is this for real? Not for some series right????” The groom then replied: “Dead Lucky the movie”.
