The Internet loves uncovering celeb doppelgängers, but sometimes, the stars do the work for us.

Elvin Ng, 40, did just that today (Jul 21) when he posted a pic of him with Ah Ge Li Nanxing, 56 on Instagram.

“When I was young, people would say that I look like Nanxing da ge, Elvin wrote. I’d always respond with, ‘No lah, we don’t!’ but deep inside, I’d feel really pleased. Do you think we look alike? I’ll be really happy if you say we do.

A netizen also suggested that Nanxing and Elvin play brothers in a drama together (how has that not happened yet?!), which we agree would be pretty interesting. (P/S: They've acted opposite each other in dramas The Ultimatum (2009) and C.L.I.F 4 (2016) but have never played siblings.)

Unfortunately you might have to wait a while for that to happen as Nanxing will be playing Carrie Wong's father in upcoming Mediacorp drama The Peculiar Pawnbroker. The drama, which will air later this year, also stars Romeo Tan.
