It’s been a while since he was last seen on screen, but somehow, ex-Mediacorp host Benedict Goh, still looks just as boyish as he did back in the ‘90s. It's almost impossible to believe that he's 51 this year.

Earlier this week, Allan Wu met up with with Benedict and in his caption, basically echoed everyone’s thoughts when he described Benedict as a “forever young looking lad (whose older than me) (sic)”.

The still boyishly good-looking Benedict, who first burst onto the scene as the winner of Manhunt back in 1994, is probably best known for hosting The Pyramid Game from 1995 to 1997.

Oh, that and his dimpled smile.

He also appeared in a number of Mediacorp dramas. There was classic English drama Growing Up, as well as 1997’s Rising Expectations, which Benedict starred in alongside Zoe Tay, Li Nanxing and Wong Lilin.

Anyway, it’s been quite a while since Benedict has appeared on TV, if you don’t count his appearance earlier this year on On the Red Dot, where he reunited with the cast of Growing Up.

He quit showbiz back in 1998, after his contract with Mediacorp, which was then known as Television Corporation of Singapore back then, ended.

And although Benedict did appear in a few dramas since then, his last television appearance was 2009’s The Ultimatum, which starred Zoe Tay and Fann Wong.

So what has he been up to since his exit from showbiz, and more importantly, why does it look like he has not aged a day since the ‘90s?

Well, it seems Benedict’s been majorly busy, juggling multiple hats as the deputy COO of interior design firm Fide Living, as well as an occasional emcee for private events. A 2015 Straits Times article shared that he was working as a representative for various Swiss skincare brands.

In November last year, Benedict also founded Electrik Holdings, an environmental solutions firm peddling green energy solutions to commercial clients.

Oh, and for those who were wondering... judging from his IG, Benedict's happily attached to a Thai woman who works in the hotel industry.

Sadly, it seems they haven't met each other for a while because of the pandemic. Let's hope Benedict, who was married for six years to an air stewardess before their divorce in 2009, gets reunited with his girlfriend soon.
