Hello October! It's a brand new month, and there were plenty of reasons to celebrate in the past week: from birthdays, new beginnings and everything else in between. Here's to hoping that the rest of the month will be as good for all of us.

Yup, that's Eleanor Lee, who had surgery on her inflamed ingrown toenails because they were causing her so much pain, getting piggybacked by her mum Quan Yifeng. The Mediacorp host has assured us that Eleanor is recovering well and that she'll be up and walking in no time.

Her birthday might not be for another week, but who says you can't party in advance? Xiuhuan kicked off the festivities with her buddies Phyllis Quek and Angela Ang, and thanked them for their friendship over the years.
