This week, we see a bumper crop of baby updates, awards season nominations, a devious Instagram-filtered trick, as well as celebrations and good-natured ribbing.

(P.S: Can you guess who just did their very first Facebook live?)

1 of 11 Cynthia Koh, Michelle Chong and Apple Hong met up to celebrate Apple's birthday

And they also reminisced about the 2010 drama that brought them together, Mrs P.I.

We met on the set of [Mrs P.I.], it was one of the rare times that you have [ Michelle] working on a Chinese drama. Those 3 months on set with the both of them was nothing but endless laughter and fun, Cynthia wrote in her caption, where she also wished Apple a happy birthday.

2 of 11 Nono and his family made a socially-distant "visit" to Mark Lee and his wife

Mark and his wife, Catherine, have been in quarantine in Taipei for the past week, as they prepare for the upcoming Golden Horse Awards, where Mark's nominated for Best Actor for his role in Singaporean comedy movie Number 1. And in these few days, they've been spoiled silly with loads of good food from their friends, including Taiwanese entertainer Nono. Yum!

3 of 11 The PS5 launched in Singapore... and Derrick Hoh and Lee Teng got tricked by their wives

Sadly for Derrick and Lee Teng, those aren't real PS5s waiting for them on the dinner table. Instead, it's a super realistic Instagram filter that has taken over social media this week, with dozens of people using it to trick their gamer friends. Oops.

4 of 11 Rebecca Lim scored a Best Actress nomination at this year's Asian Television Awards

Well, two nominations, to be exact. Becks was nominated for both the Best Leading Female Performance — Digital award, as well as the Best Actress In A Leading Role award for her performance in the second season of the crime drama The Bridge.

Her stint as detective Serena Teo won her the Best Actress In A Leading Role award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards earlier as well.

5 of 11 And Last Madame bagged a whopping 11 noms at the Asian Television Awards.

Yep, you read that right. The drama is definitely shaping up to be a hot favourite at awards ceremonies. After all, Last Madame did win Best Asian Drama at the Asia Contents Awards just last week.

And here's what the drama is nominated for at the Asian Television Awards: Best Drama Series, Best Actress In A Leading Role, Best Actor In A Supporting Role, Best Actress In A Supporting Role (twice-nominated!), Best Cinematography, Best Script Writing (twice-nominated as well), Best Digital Fiction Programme/Series, Best Leading Male Performance — Digital and Best Leading Female Performance — Digital.

That was a mouthful, wasn't it? Congrats to everyone nominated!

6 of 11 New dad Huang Jinglun's baby boy's finally home...

... and he's going through the new parent rite of passage, with a heavy dose sleep deprivation.

“Finally have this little fellow back at home,
but as a result, I’ve only slept 2.5 hours in these two days.
Wah wah wah,
[he] keeps crying, once he’s slept for 30 minutes, he’s up again,
a while after drinking his milk he starts crying,
and just after his nappy is changed, he cries too,
even when comforting him, he cries.
He should have adapted to this new environment, right?
If it’s like this, it’s hard for me to focus on filming,
I can’t even remember my lines,
I think I should try crying too,
to see who’ll feed me some milk,” wrote the new dad.

Jiayou, Jinglun!

7 of 11 LOVE 97.2FM's Kenneth Kong celebrated the first birthday of his twins, LL and HH

The IVF babies sure have come a long way from when they were five-day-old blastocysts (that's the pic on the left). Kenneth's super touching post recounting their birth journey tugged at our heartstrings too.

Happy first birthday!

8 of 11 Ben Yeo took Rui En's first time...

We mean Rui En's first time doing a Facebook Live, and she spent it with the host, where they talked about all things food... coupled with a crash course on the mechanics of a live stream from Ben for Rui En.

There were plenty of memorable interactions, like when a noticeably nervous Rui En was very worried that there no one would tune in at the very start (The duo pulled over 1,500 viewers and 3,000 comments on the live stream eventually).

9 of 11 Donnie Yen schooled Edison Chen on the art of wearing red pants.

Remember when Edison Chen was roundly criticised by netizens for looking like an “uncle going to the park” when pics of him modelling his latest collection were released online?

Well, it looks like word has gotten back to Hongkong martial arts superstar Donnie Yen, who made this tongue-in-cheek post showing off how he styles his red trousers. Point well taken, Donnie.

(P.S: Check out the equally hilarious response from Edison in the comments section)

10 of 11 Shaun Chen donated blood on his birthday

It's my birthday today, and it's rare that I don't have work, so I came here to do a good deed in the hopes that everyone will be like me. Wishing everyone good health, he wrote in his caption.

Kudos to you, Shaun!
