Ivy Lee’s 16-Year-Old Twin Sons Are Now Taller Than Her (And Their Godmother Hong Huifang)
They’ve got to be about 1.8m tall, we think.
We know, we know. Time really flies, doesn’t it? Just last year, we were reminiscing over how former Mediacorp actress Ivy Lee’s twin boys, Dash and Nik Choy, were already celebrating their 15th birthday.
After all, wasn’t it not too long ago when their rambunctious three-year-old selves graced 8 DAYS' cover along with Ivy in 2008?
Well, it’s been a whole year, and now, Ivy’s twin boys are officially 16.
13 years on, and it seems like both Dash and Nik are as cheerful as ever, judging from the wholesome, albeit blurry snap Ivy posted on her Instagram.
Alas, thanks to COVID-19, Ivy and her family, who are based in England now, were probably unable to make a trip back to Singapore like they did in 2019.
“Wishing you guys a happy birthday! Stay healthy, safe, and happy! Take care and stay safe, miss and love both of you,” Huifang wrote in her caption. What we’re surprised by, however, is that both Dash and Nik look to be taller than Huifang jie, who stands at a pretty impressive 1.7m.
We’re not exactly sure how tall the boys are now, but if we had to hazard a guess? Probably close to 1.8m.
Ivy married her Hongkong director husband, Raymond Choy in 1997. She gave birth to her eldest daughter, Mikki, who is now 23 (?!), the same year. Dash and Nik were born in 2005, and her youngest daughter, Leah, is 11.
