Jacelyn Tay Grieves Over Death Of Dog She Adopted From The Streets More Than 10 Years Ago

She may have given her pooch away after her divorce in 2018, but it kept a special place in her heart.
In the wee hours of last night (July 23), the actress took to Facebook and Instagram to express her sadness at the death of the pooch, whose name Jacelyn did not reveal.
Jacelyn revealed that she doesn’t know the actual age of her dog and that she had found it “lost on [the] street” back in 2008.
“3 Jan 2008 - 19 Jul 2020. Jan 3 was not your birthday. No one knows your birthday, except [that] you were about [three years old] then. I saw you lost on [the] street on that fateful day. The rest was history. We spent a decade together,” wrote Jacelyn in a heartfelt post, adding that the pooch was in her life even before her eight-year-old son, Zavier, was born.
Jacelyn raised her furkid for over 10 years, until she gave it away after her divorce from Brian Wong, her husband of eight years, in 2018.
“I didn't know how to love you because I am not a pet lover. But somehow we passed 10 years together. When I divorced, I found you a home who treated you with much love that you deserved,” the 45-year-old star continued.
Jacelyn then explained that she tried not to think about the dog after her split as she “cannot take separation well”.
“That's why I’d rather not start a relationship with any living thing. But I guess you found a special place in my heart that I cannot deny. Thank you eternally. RIP,” she wrote at the end of the post.
Condolences from fellow stars poured in, including one from Belinda Lee, who said that her late dog, Man Man, is probably bringing Jace’s doggo on a tour in pet heaven right now.
Okay, can someone pass us some tissues please?
