Phyllis Quek, 48, Is As Gorgeous As Ever
Even her famous colleagues can’t help but fangirl over her.
We know, we know, there’re so many gorgeous celebs out there who look crazy young for their age. But still, we couldn’t help but marvel at this picture former Mediacorp actress Phyllis Quek posted on her Instagram recently.
Can you believe that she is 48 this year? The Malaysian-born 1995 Star Search second runner-up (she and Christopher Lee came in second to champs Jacelyn Tay and Ix Shen) has never really left the minds of television viewers, despite taking a step back from the public eye in recent years.
And it looks like time away from the spotlight has been great for Phyllis who looks just as good, or dare we say it, even better, than she did some 25 years ago.
And don’t just take our words for it. Just a quick scroll through the comments section of Phyllis’s Instagram reveals dozens of comments from equally enamoured netizens and celebs, marvelling at her beauty.
Phyllis, who is best known for playing the peony fairy Bai Mudan in 1998 Mediacorp drama Legend of the Eight Immortals, last appeared in the 2017's My Teacher Is A Thug opposite Li Nanxing and Bonnie Loo. In 2012, she tied the knot with Australian businessman David Cox.
