They say age is just a number, but for some celebrities, that number doesn’t change.

Stars like Cecilia Cheung, Gigi Lai and Vera Wang have all seemingly discovered the fountain of youth, showing little to no signs of ageing over the past decade. And joining the club is our very own Ya Hui, who appears to have barely aged since 2009.

Ya Hui, 33, recently posted two photos on her Instagram — one of herself taken recently and another that was shot 11 years ago when she was just 22.

“The first pic was taken before COVID-19. I’ve always wanted to post photos comparing myself now to 10 years ago, but I just didn’t get down to it. Just nice, Facebook Memories shared this pic and stated that [this happened] 11 years ago today! My God. If I don’t post it now, it’s gonna be a 20-year comparison instead. Same face?” she captioned the post, along with the hashtags ‘almost the same expression’, ‘different car same colour’ and ‘trying to smile like last time but there’s some difficulty’.

Her post led a number of netizens to rave about her ageless beauty, with one netizen writing, “Are you sure it’s 10 years ago? Why do the pics look like it was taken one day apart?”

Then there were those who couldn’t help but voice their preferences for the 2020 Ya Hui, saying she looks much more “mature” now compared to how cheeky she looked last time.
