Let’s get this out of the way: CLASS 95 jock Yasminne Cheng, 42, does not have any children. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Oh, and she’s most definitely not a “single mum” who’s “looking to get a guy”. And neither is she “offering S$6000 in cash” on her bed in order to “make [her] home happy”.

We know, we know, the above goes without saying. But with so many dubiously-worded and terribly crafted social media posts impersonating local celebs these days, we thought we’d make it clear from the get-go.

1 of 2 Don't mess around, okay?

Yasminne’s definitely not the first, or the last, for that matter, to have her pictures snapped up by opportunistic scammers looking to earn a quick buck. But the radio presenter's very vehement refutal of said scammer’s post earlier this week was pretty hilarious, no?

TAKE IT DOWN NOW. THAT IS MY PIX AND I HAVE NO CHILDREN, wrote an exasperated Yaz.

When
8days.sg phoned Yasminne for a quick chat about the post, she shared that her first reaction upon seeing the post was “really, WTF?”.

“This is the second time that I know of something like this happening, usually my Facebook fans will alert me [when they see my pictures being used by these scammers],” she said.

“It's super irritating! I’m always a single mum who’s lonely and horny, and it’s like ‘What!?' , Yasminne added.

2 of 2 She's not kidding around

Thankfully, after Yasminne’s very public call-out, the admins in-charge of the Facebook group promptly messaged Yasminne that they had taken down the post.

As for whether she made a police report, she said: “I didn’t ‘cos it’s a bit leceh. If I made a police report for every one of these posts, my goodness, I’d be so busy!” said Yasminne.
