In this day and age, it shouldn’t really come as a surprise that celebs edit their photos before posting them online. Consider it a quick non-surgical nip-and-tuck, if you will.

Take Korean singer Kim Yeonji, for example, who got called out by netizens for her Photoshop fails… and then promptly turned it on them by posting even more outrageous and hilarious fails.

But now, netizens have latched on to their next target — Taiwanese singer-actress Annie Yi, 53, who’s not exactly a stranger to online hate, having been flamed before for “not being careful with her words”, among many other things.

Recently, the singer-actress’ work studio posted a few pictures of Annie’s performance at an outdoor music festival.

In the pics, Annie was dressed in an elaborate pink-and-black dress, with a number of netizens leaving comments praising Annie for her beauty.

However, other netizens who were present at the festival soon begun uploading pictures that they had taken of Annie. And in those pictures, Annie didn’t look quite as flawless.

Some even went as far as to point out her “droopy armpits” in the unedited photos, calling them an “eyesore”.

“Auntie Yi, why don’t you wear your clothes properly before coming out on stage next time, so you wouldn’t need to resort to editing your photos to deceive others,” one particularly catty netizen wrote.

According to reports, Annie’s husband, Chinese actor Qin Hao, and their daughter, four-year-old Milly, were present at the festival as well.

Qin Hao later shared on his Weibo that it was “the first time” their daughter had watched Annie perform on stage.
