Billionaire Alvin Chau Shows Off Ripped Bod On Son’s IG; Appears To Have Removed Tattoo He Got For Ex-Mistress Mandy Lieu

Many people vow to get fit as a New Year’s resolution, but let’s face it: not everybody actually manages to reach that goal by the time late December rolls around. However, 24-year-old Chau Pak Ho, who is the eldest son of Macau billionaire tycoon Alvin Chau, had some impressive results to show off recently.

On Tuesday (Dec 29), Pak Ho shared a few shirtless pics of himself on his Instagram, including a comparison with his, um, fluffier self from before. “Thank you 2020,” he wrote in the caption.

He certainly hasn’t been the only one in his family sweating it out at the gym. Pak Ho also posted photos of his impressively ripped dad, 46, although netizens and the media seem to be more intrigued by something other than the Suncity Group CEO’s washboard abs.

While Alvin’s tattoos, including one of the Suncity Group logo on his left chest — talk about being dedicated to your job — are clearly visible in the shots, eagle-eyed folks pointed out that the one he got for his ex-mistress and four-time baby mama, Malaysian model Mandy Lieu, is nowhere to be seen.

Alvin had the phrase “I will honour and love you forever” and initials “M.W” inked on the inside of his left upper arm in 2017 (“M” represents Mandy, and the “W” presumably stands for the “Wa” in Alvin’s Chinese name). According to reports, he did this as an apology to Mandy after he was romantically linked to Japanese model Linah Matsuoka.

Kinda ironic considering that Alvin was seeing Mandy while he was still married to his wife, entrepreneur Heidi Chan, but we digress.

Alas, “forever” turned out to mean just half a decade. Last year, Mandy ended her relationship with Alvin when she realised he wasn’t going to leave Heidi for her. He seemed to take the split pretty well, judging from the S$52mil he reportedly gave Mandy as a ‘break-up fee’. The former couple had been seeing each other since 2014 and had a son and three daughters together.

Of course, it’s hard to really tell if Alvin has indeed removed the tattoo just by looking at those two photos, as it could simply have been Photoshopped away, or he could be deliberately posing in a way that conceals it from the camera. In any case, we suppose this is a good reminder of why it’s a bad idea to get tattoos for your significant other.
