Chingmy Yau’s Stunning 18-Year-Old Daughter Is Set To Take Over Her Father’s Fashion Empire
She's so in fashion.
Former Hongkong screen beauty Chingmy Yau has three lovely daughters, one of whom has been hogging the spotlight.
We’re talking about Shum Yuet, the eldest daughter of the 1987 Miss Hongkong contestant.
The gorgeous 18-year-old is already a fashion force to be reckoned with. She has strutted her stuff during London Fashion Week for Izzue (a brand that her fashion tycoon dad Sham Kar Wai owns) and has also graced the cover of Elle Hongkong.
Shum Yuet, who also bears an uncanny resemblance to her 51-year-old mum, has since been dubbed “the most beautiful second-generation star” by fans and industry veterans alike. And rightfully so.
But being known for her beauty isn't what Chingmy’s mini-mi is all about.
According to reports, Shum Yuet’s plans to study in the UK has been temporarily put on hold so that she can start learning the ropes of her father’s I.T fashion empire, which distributes brands such as :Chocoolate, A Bathing Ape and French Connection.
And Shum Yuet has been busy training to be her dad's successor. It's been reported that she often travels with her dad for business meetings around the world. Like how before she made her high society debut at the Le Bal Des Débutantes in Paris last week, she was in Japan for a tour of her family's businesses there as well as to shoot a vid for their latest season.
