Taiwanese singer Christine Fan falls down so much, she calls herself ‘The Queen of Clumsiness’.

In the wee hours of this morning (Sep 5), the 43-year-old suddenly Instagrammed a series of gory pictures of herself with an extremely deep gash on her chin. Turns out, she had split her chin open after falling down in her own home when she got up in the middle of the night, Ouch.

Christine’s husband, Taiwanese host Blackie Chen, immediately rushed her to the emergency room where she received a total of 15 stitches.

Her clueless followers got a rude shock when they scrolled through their feed the next morning as they came face to face with the very graphic pics Christine posted. Those curious enough to look through the gallery were also treated to another angle of the open wound, as well as this pic which shows the wound taped up post-surgery.

In her caption, Christine, who is affectionately known as Fanfan, wrote, “I fell down again today… Thank you doctor for helping me sew this up! I will be participating in a fashion event tomorrow, I hope everyone will not be afraid of me! Thank you hubby for bringing me to get the 15 stitches sewn!”

Christine and Blackie famously dated for a decade before getting hitched in 2011. In 2015, they welcomed their four-year-old twin boys, Ryan and River.

“Fanfan fell down again last night. The fall resulted in a big hole in her chin. I immediately called our clinic. Thank you to the doctor who sewed up Fanfan’s wound in the shortest time possible… I think we should sleep with the lights on next time...” Blackie wrote on his Instagram. He also included this video of the surgery.

Comments quickly poured in from concerned netizens, most of whom were also grossed out by the very graphic pics.

“It looks really painful,” commented a fan. “Oh my God! I can see everything inside… Get well soon!” wrote another. “Why did you fall again? You must be pregnant,” someone added. The netizen was referring to Christine’s 2014 accident. She had fallen while making her to the toilet and needed 25 stitches to her eyebrow. And it was when she was getting stitched up in the hospital did she realise that she was pregnant with her twins.

So maybe second time lucky?
