Did Jacqueline Wong’s Sister Scarlett Wong Get Dumped By Her Rich Boyfriend?
Looks like lady luck hasn’t been kind to the Wong sisters.
Disgraced Hongkong actress Jacqueline Wong made the headlines for all the wrong reasons after the video of her making out with Andy Hui spread like wildfire. Sammi Cheng has stepped forward to forgive her husband’s philandering ways and Kenneth Ma has asked the public to give his cheating ex-girlfriend a second chance, but Jacqueline’s reputation has yet to recover from the scandal.
After news of Jacqueline’s backseat tryst made headlines, her older sister, Scarlett Wong, also had her name splashed all over the news following reports that she had been dumped by her wealthy boyfriend Justin Ma.
Justin's father is reported to have a net worth of HK$10bil (S$1.75bil), while his mother is famous socialite Fanny Sieh. Justin, who is 10 years younger than Scarlett, is said to be the first relationship she went public with after divorcing a Taiwanese man in 2015.
Scarlett has never publicly addressed the rumours of her breakup, further fueling speculation that she was dumped because Justin's family doesn’t want anything to do with the Wong family.
Scarlett’s ambiguous IG post on July 24 also hinted that she might be single now. “Hey, you might think that you’re unable to tide through whatever you’re going through now, but the you from the future will know otherwise. Jiayou!”
Some netizens, however, interpreted it as a message to her sister, who has been all but disappeared from the public eye while she waits for her scandal to blow over.
Either way, it seems that lady luck hasn’t been on the Wong sisters’ side this year.
