Is Donnie Yen’s 17-Year-Old Daughter “Testing The Waters” For Her Showbiz Debut?

The internet is certainly no stranger to Jasmine Yen, the modelesque daughter of martial arts superstar Donnie Yen and his wife, former beauty queen Cecilia ‘Cissy’ Wang. After all, the teenager has made waves — more than once, actually — for her good looks, which as we all know by now is something that happens a lot to celebrity kids.

And Jasmine certainly doesn’t seem to mind all the attention, judging from all the super confident, magazine-worthy shots of herself she posts for her 48K and counting Instagram fans.

The musically gifted lass also shares videos of herself dancing from time to time, and her latest performance was uploaded on her 17th birthday last Tuesday (Jan 19) as a “surprise” for her followers.

Uh, not to be pedantic, but is it really a “B-day surprise” if you posted two teaser clips counting down to its release? Anyway, you can check it out below, and we must say: Gurl’s got moves.

Seemingly adding weight to this speculation is the fact that Jasmine had uploaded the same video on her brand new Weibo account, which she launched on her birthday. Or maybe she just wanted more people to see how talented she is.

Although Donnie could not be with Jasmine on her birthday as he had travelled overseas for work, he didn’t forget to dedicate a lovely post to her on his socials, which included some super cute throwback pics.

“It’s crazy how times had just went too unforgivably fast as I’d watched you grow into this beautiful, talented, smart and elegant little woman right before my eyes! Just can’t describe enough of how proud I am as your baba, u know you have brought so much happiness and joy to our family! (sic)” he gushed.

Nothing like seeing a guy who can kick some serious butt melt into a puddle ‘cos of his little girl.
