There's just something about your first love that makes him or her unforgettable, no matter how many relationships you've been in since then. Just ask Eddie Peng.

In a recent interview, the 37-year-old Taiwanese actor opened up about his love life where he revealed his wish to “look for [his] first love once again because [his] first relationship was [his] happiest”.

“[It was] a relationship that I was fully devoted to, and it was the hardest to forget,” he shared, adding that his other relationships just could not measure up to his first love.

“Or perhaps, I’ve yet to meet [the right one]. Maybe after this interview, I’ll find love once again,” he laughed.

The very-private Eddie also revealed that he dated his first girlfriend when he was 16 and that he still remembers every detail of their dates even though they happened over 20 years ago. He also let on that his first kiss was with her.

Apart from his rumoured girlfriends Jolin Tsai and Shu Qi, little is known about Eddie's dating history. In 2018, there were rumours that he was dating 50-year-old Chinese actress Summer Qing but the rumours turned out to be fake, much to the relieve of the heartthrob's fans. More recently, Eddie was rumoured to have tied knot with Taiwanese actress Janine Chang but that news was quickly rubbished by Eddie’s management.

When asked how he has managed to keep his romantic life a secret, Eddie said: Just don't say anything. If they find out, they find out. But it's been a long time since I dated [anyone]... like over five years.
