With the increasing spread of COVID-19 around the world, many tourists are cancelling their trips abroad. But there are also those brave enough to continue on with their holiday plans.

Then there's Hongkong star Ekin Cheng, 52, and his wife, former TVB actress Yoyo Mung, 46, who are clearly throwing caution to the wind while they holiday it up in Japan. And that's despite Japan being labelled one of the hotspots of the epidemic.

According to Apple Daily, the couple and a friend were spotted out and about in Fukuoka sans face masks. The person who snapped this picture of the group at a gyoza restaurant noted that Ekin, Yoyo and their friend weren't wearing masks the whole time.

On a separate day, Ekin and Yoyo were seen going on a leisurely bike ride at Ohori Park. They were seen happily chatting at an intersection while Ekin adjusted his gloves. This time, they were also not wearing masks.

Netizens have advised the couple to start wearing masks and to be mindful of their surroundings in Fukuoka since there are confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city. After all, it's better to be safe than sorry.
