It’s no secret that celeb couple Ekin Cheng and Yoyo Mung really like spending time in Japan. After all, the couple tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in Tokyo back in 2013, and were spotted holidaying in Fukuoka just a year ago, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

But it appears that the couple has taken their love for Japan up a notch, with unconfirmed reports sharing that the couple are now property and business owners in Fukuoka.

Ekin and Yoyo have long been rumoured to be planning to settle down in Japan, with the couple often flying over to the country whenever their schedule allows them.

But that’s not all. Yoyo, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight since her appearance in the 2018 drama, Flying Tiger 2, is also venturing into the real estate business.

According to these reports, Yoyo has a stake in a real estate agency based in Fukuoka, Happo Property. While the agency seems to be very new, with its social media pages created in Oct 2020, it appears to be doing brisk business already.

The agency boasts staff that can communicate in Japanese, English, Cantonese and Chinese, with a second office in Hongkong.

Apart from assisting in property purchases, the agency also offers immigration, property management, and property investment services.

Yoyo was not explicitly named as the owner of the agency, although Happo Property’s Facebook page shares that the agency was started by a Hongkong resident. Yoyo also appears in a video posted on the page, where she chats with a friend about Fukuoka.

In November last year, Yoyo also shared a screenshot of the agency’s post on her Instagram. In the post, the agency described Yoyo as “a good friend of the agency”, making no secret of the actress' involvement with them.
