Celebrities being subjected to nasty comments from strangers on the internet is unfortunately not a new or uncommon phenomenon, but what happens when the unpleasant remark comes from a close friend or relative?

Recently, Feynman Ng, the 12-year-old son of Hongkong actor Francis Ng, 59, and former Singaporean actress Ong Lay Pheng, 51, decided to be cheeky by going to his dad’s Baidu Tieba fanpage and leaving a message saying, “Francis Ng is so ugly.”

Thinking that Feynman was just another hater, the very protective account admin responded by blocking and reporting him.

Upon realising that they had blacklisted the child of their own idol, the admin contacted Feynman on Weibo to apologise. They also admitted that they did not know how to withdraw their report against him (oops).

However, Feynman was a good sport about the whole situation and even posted screenshots of their conversations, alerting the whole internet to this amusing little saga.

Before long, the phrase “Feynman was blacklisted by Francis Ng’s Tieba page” became the number one trending topic on Weibo.

Netizens were certainly tickled by Feynman’s antics and left comments such as: “[Francis’] biggest hater is his own son”, “Why is Feynman so funny?”, and “How has he turned into a comedian?”.

Francis, who no qualms teasing Feynman online, decided to engage in some trolling himself.

Sharing a screenshot of his son being blacklisted and making it to the top of the Weibo trending topics list, the actor wrote, “Who did this. Good job. Who’s next.”

We can certainly see where the kid gets his mischievous side from.
