Every inbound traveller to China now has to undergo a compulsory 14-day quarantine, which is what Hongkong actor Francis Ng is doing now. And the 58-year-old, who recently flew there for work, is feeling super bored.
So Francis turned to social media for help by asking his fans for suggestions on what he should do in order to while away the time in his hotel room.
“Hi! How is everyone? I am currently in self-isolation. I really want to do a live stream broadcast of my 14 days here, so I was wondering if you guys have any idea on what I should do?” he wrote.
I think you should live stream your weight loss journey and do a quarantine weight loss tutorial, the actor’s 11-year-old son, Feynman Ng, suggested. Francis’s hilarious reply? “I am already so thin… I don’t think there will be an effect on me, but I’m sure it’ll work for you.”
Besides Feynman, netizens were also full of ideas on what Francis can talk about on his live stream. One fan even joked that he should sell gossip about his celeb pals, to which Francis, ever the joker, replied: “Everyone I know is past their prime, [they're] of little value. His response tickled his followers, who also felt that he has probably offended his pals in showbiz.
Julian Cheung, Louis Koo, Tony Leung, Sean Lau and Nick Cheung must have a lot of question marks [floating in their minds], wrote one netizen, while another commented: Which celeb will dare to admit that they are friends with Francis Ng now.
