Show Luo and Grace Chow’s very public breakup may not be dominating headlines as much now but netizens are still very much interested in the former couple’s next move, especially since there have been rumours that there might be a reconciliation on the horizon.

That was until Show posted a snarky Instagram Story shortly after Grace made her IG comeback.

Oddly enough, Show decided to update his Instagram Stories about an hour after Grace’s IG post. His snap of a collection of Nike sneakers looked innocuous enough, until netizens noticed a GIF on the bottom right hand corner of his post. “Bye? What does he mean bye?” one netizen wondered. “I don’t think it has anything to do with his shoes, right?”

The timing, they reasoned, was especially suspicious because it came so shortly after Grace’s update. “Did they have a talk and realise that their relationship is really unsalvageable?” read a comment on Weibo.
