Over the past few months, there’s been a string of bad news regarding food delivery riders in Singapore being mistreated by customers or getting into horrific accidents, so hopefully this story will remind people to be nicer to the ones bringing their dinner to their doorsteps.

Recently, a radio station in Kerala, India did an interview with a local man who worked as a food delivery rider in Korea. Thanks to his job, he has achieved what most K-pop fans can only dream of ever doing: meeting four members of supergroup BTS.

Although he clarified that he isn’t a fan of theirs, the rider had nothing but praise for the members he encountered on the job, namely Jungkook, Suga, RM, and Jin.

Calling all four of them “superb”, the rider revealed that even though the boys are such massively famous and successful celebrities, they basically didn't behave as such.

One particularly heart-warming encounter happened with rapper Suga.

According to the rider, he once received an order from Suga on a rainy day, and even though there was no way for customers to contact their riders directly, Suga made an effort to include a note in the “rider request” section, writing, “It’s raining. It doesn’t matter if you’re late. Please be careful on the road.”

“Isn’t that a super quality to have?” the rider gushed, clearly touched by the simple but thoughtful gesture.

And here we have people issuing risky ‘challenges’ for their food delivery riders to arrive within a stipulated time limit for free Milo and candy.

Fans, of course, were loving the story, and many pointed out that Suga himself used to be a part-time delivery driver before making his debut with BTS.

The 28-year-old got into a traffic accident in 2012 while making a delivery, resulting in a shoulder injury that continued to bother him for many years. He finally had surgery to repair his torn shoulder labrum in November last year.
