Jacky Cheung's Oldest Daughter Zoe Has Grown Up To Be A Stunner
She resembles a young Shu Qi.
Heavenly King Jacky Cheung’s kids are all grown up now, and becoming stars in their own right.
He and his wife, former Hongkong actress May Lo, got married in 1996 and have two daughters: Zoe, 18, and Zia, 13.
The famously private Jacky had tried to shield his daughters from the public eye when they were growing up. Younger daughter Zia is said to be shy and avoids attention as much as possible, but Zoe has glowed up so much over the years that netizens have started noticing her.
They pointed out her resemblance to her mum, as mother-and-daughter share the same doe eyes and bee-stung pout that May’s well-known for.
People also compared Zoe to a young Shu Qi (see the resemblance here?).
Zoe is reportedly a star athlete at the prestigious Hongkong school she attends, Harrow International School. She also regularly joins her mum for runs around their neighbourhood. Which explains her #fitspo bod.
Perhaps anticipating Zoe’s inevitable horde of admirers, Jacky once confessed in an interview that he and his wife have started talking to their daughter about dating and sex in an attempt to protect her. “I’m most worried about her being hurt, but it probably will happen. It’s [my] karma,” he reportedly said, explaining that he believes every minor mistake he made in his past relationships could result in bad karma on his kids.
Or perhaps he was wary about the rumours of Zoe dating a married Caucasian man, named Mathis Ekkebus, whom she was photographed embracing and exchanging “I love you” messages with on Facebook. Hongkong tabloids claimed to have uncovered proof of Mathis being married to another woman, though the mini scandal subsequently fizzled out.
To think just a few years ago, Zoe was still a chubby-cheeked teenager.
Meanwhile, Zoe's fresh-faced younger sister, Zia, regularly attends her dad’s concerts clutching a light stick like a fangirl.
