Jacqueline Wong Rumoured To Have Come Between 2 Married Couples Before Sammi Cheng And Andy Hui

Jacqueline Wong, the actress in the centre, or should we say backseat, of the Andy Hui cheating scandal, has spoken. In a statement released on her Instagram today (April 17), the girlfriend of TVB actor Kenneth Ma wrote:

“Sorry, I made a mistake.
I did a very wrong, unforgivable thing and I feel very ashamed and remorseful.
I want to offer my sincerest apologies to all those that have been affected and hurt by the incident.
To have commited such a serious mistake, I cannot face myself and I don’t know how to face my family, Kenneth, my friends, my company, my colleagues….
I don’t dare to ask for all your forgiveness, I can only beg for everyone to give those affected by this some space.
I will seriously reflect on my mistakes and accept all punishment and consequences.
Once again, I am sorry.”


 

Prior to Jacqueline’s apology, her boss, high-ranking TVB executive Virginia Lok, told the Hongkong media today that she had a long chat with the actress. “She really, really regrets what she did,” said Virginia. “She knows she made a gigantic mistake and she is very sorry to everyone who got dragged into it, especially her parents and her family. She is very sorry to the company and to Kenneth Ma and his family. She is still very emotional now and the company believes that she needs some time to rest.”

Virginia’s quote corresponds with the rumour that TVB has forced Jacqueline to stop all work. It is also alleged that all of Jacqueline’s upcoming dramas and shows have been removed from TVB’s broadcast schedule for the rest of year.


 

Virginia also talked about how Jacqueline’s boyfriend, TVB actor Kenneth Ma, is doing. “Kenneth says he’s okay. Everyone doesn’t need to worry about him. He is very professional. He requested to continue working, and told everyone not to accommodate him. So tonight, he will continue shooting his drama The Exorcist's Meter 2.0 as usual.” FYI: In The Exorcist’s Meter and its sequel, Kenneth plays a nightshift taxi driver who can see demons.

Surely we all can see the irony in that.

 

Now that she’s the most famous other woman in Asia, Jacqueline’s romantic history, or rather, her past scandals have made the news again. The 30-year-old actress, who has a Master’s degree in finance and international business from Columbia University, is apparently well-known for being a “skank” in the Hongkong showbiz scene. And it turns out, the 2012 Miss Hongkong runner-up doesn't discriminate who she sets her eyes on.

In 2014, Jacqueline starred with Hongkong actor Lawrence Ng in the TVB prison drama Tomorrow Is Another Day and the actor had taken to Weibo to gush about her. Shortly after, Lawrence and his wife filed for divorce and Jacqueline was rumoured to have been the cause of the split. The actress vehemently denied any wrongdoing, declaring that she “doesn’t like married men”.


 

In 2015, she was rumoured to have come between TVB actor Vincent Wong and his wife, TVB actress Yoyo Chen. Jacqueline and Vincent were filming the drama With or Without You in China and the two were often seen hanging out together during breaks and on their days off. It’s said that Jacqueline had made her move on Vincent ’cos he was going through a rough patch with his wife. The cheating rumours got so bad that an incensed Yoyo reportedly refused to sleep with Vincent in the same room. Thankfully, Vincent and Yoyo managed to weather the storm and are still together.

 

In 2017, Jacqueline was seen clubbing and going to a karaoke bar with TVB star Adrian Chau. The inebriated actress was also spotted, wait for this, kissing the actor. It was reported that she had made the first move. Jacqueline firmly denied the reports saying that she was at a friend's gathering and that she wasn’t close to Adrian and so it was impossible that she would kiss him. What’s the most eyebrow-raising part about this news is that it happened just months after she and Kenneth went public with their relationship. But when Kenneth was asked about the scandal, the well-known Mr Nice Guy defended his girlfriend, saying: “Everyone, let’s just have a laugh about it lah.”

We have a feeling Kenneth is not having a laugh now.
