When Jacqueline Wong got branded Asia’s most famous mistress after making out with the very-married Andy Hui in the back of a car in April, her then-burgeoning career quickly went kaput as her projects at TVB either got reshot or shelved indefinitely. “I don’t know when they will be aired. Let’s hope time passes faster!” said TVB exec Virginia Lok at that time.

We guess enough time has passed ’cos it was reported today (Sep 11) that one of Jacqueline’s completed dramas, Finding Her Voice, will be airing next month. And not just that, the show is also heralded as one of TVB’s anniversary dramas this year.

The producer of Finding Her Voice has since told reporters that none of Jacqueline’s scenes were cut but he believes that the actress would neither be taking part in any of the drama’s promotional activities nor giving any interviews.

It’s the first piece of good news for Jacqueline in the past five months — at least career-wise. Her performance of the Come Home Love: Lo and Behold theme song became an instrumental track because didn’t viewers want to hear her voice every night when they turned on the TV while her role in the already-wrapped Forensic Heroes IV was replaced by actress Roxanne Tong who had to reshoot all of the scandal-tainted star's scenes.

It’s said that Finding Her Voice didn’t suffer the same fate as Forensic Heroes IV only because the cast, which includes Hugo Ng, Owen Cheung and veteran actor Chung King-Fai, couldn’t make time to reshoot the drama.
