Jerry Yan has been linked with his ex, Lin Chiling for so long (17 years, to be exact) that almost nobody remembers his other girlfriends. While Chiling is now happily married to Japanese singer-actor Akira, Jerry, on the other hand, is still single. We think.

The 43-year-old actor was recently spotted out and about with his ex-girlfriend, 37-year-old model Seanna Chang, and her friends. Although he only joined the party later in the night, he reportedly stayed with the group til past 3am. He was also seen helping an apparently tipsy Seanna walk to his car when they called it a day. The paparazzi tried following him, but he lost them before they could see if he dropped the model off at her place.

Though Jerry has never admitted to dating Seanna, he did call her a “very, very important friend” after they were spotted together on holiday in the States in 2015. In 2019, Seanna spilled the beans by revealing that she and Jerry dated for two years.

Now with this new sighting, fans are wondering if the former couple have reconciled. While there are fans who are happy about the news, there were also those who remain wary of Seanna as she had exposed details about their relationship without seeking the famously-private Jerry’s approval.

During her exposé in 2019, Seanna called herself Jerry's “pillar of support during his darkest days”, adding that he often made her feel like she “wasn’t successful, popular and a worthy enough person to be his girlfriend”.

She then said that she suffered from low self-esteem because he refused to go public with their relationship, and this ultimately led to their breakup. In the same interview, she said that Chiling was “still the love of [Jerry’s] life” based on her observations.
