K-Pop Star Taeyeon’s Pet Dog’s Clothing Line Made Over S$1.2mil In 4 Months
Part of the earnings will go to animal rescue groups.
We’ve heard of celebs raking in the cash with their star power, but what about a celeb's dog? Girls Generation member Taeyeon’s pet pooch, a poodle named Zero, is so popular, his clothing line made over KRW1bil (S$1.21mil) in under four months.
Korean clothing line SPAO announced their collaboration with Zero last June and launched a line of casual clothes, sleepwear and accessories (for humans, not dogs!) in August. A second collection was launched in October.
Korean news outlet Hankyung Economy reported that in a span of four short months, the brand raked in over KRW1bil (S$1.21mil). It also added that Taeyeon has pledged to donate part of the earnings to charity and the money will be used to help animals who are in need or were abandoned.
While there have been no announcements for a new collection just yet, fans are still getting their daily dose of Zero from the dog's Instagram account where the pooch has amassed an impressive 396K followers.
