Taiwanese actor Kai Ko doesn't lack female company.

Over the years, the 29-year-old, who shot to fame after starring in the 2011 coming-of-age movie You Are The Apple Of My Eye, has been linked to several famous women.

However, he's only admitted to dating Taiwanese pop diva Elva Hsiao, 41. Other than that, he's always maintained that he’s single.

He shared more about his love life during a game of Truth or Dare with his pals Taiwanese entertainer McFly (also known as Da Fei), actor Kurt Huang, and singer Jumi Wang, better known as Xi Cai, in an Instagram Live session in the wee hours of this morning (May 28).

When Xi Cai asked Kai which of his ex-girlfriends he liked the most, the actor hesitated for a while before replying that the one he “most wanted to marry was Miss Hsiao”, referring to Elva.

I loved everyone that I dated and [went public with] very much. But at that time, the one that I was most likely to marry... and most wanted to marry was Miss Hsiao.

When asked by Apple Daily to comment on what Kai said, Elva quipped: He has always been so straightforward, but young people these days really don't hold back.

Kai also opened up about another one of his rumoured exes, saying that among his past girlfriends, [He] like[s] Miss Lee the most .

'Miss Lee' is assumed to be 36-year-old singer Tia Lee, or Li Yufen, whom Kai was romantically linked to in 2015. Before this morning, neither party has admitted to being more than just friends.

So why did he and Tia split up?

“I was not good enough [for her], he replied.

Though he seems to have a thing for successful and older women, Kai denied having a type.

“It just so happens that the girls I meet are like that. But I'm always very serious when it comes to dating. [My relationships] all lasted more than three years,” he said. “If I date someone, it means I’m very serious [about her].”

Kai also lamented that every time he is photographed with a girl, be it when he’s out partying or having meals with or just hanging out as friends, the media would label her as his girlfriend or someone he is interested in.

Although it pisses him off, he's gotten used to it.

Kai and Elva dated for two years before breaking up in 2014 and have since remained on amicable terms. Kai revealed to the media that they went their separate ways because of his “childish [and] stubborn” actions, and that he had since grown out of his temperamental ways.

He reportedly dated Tia the following year, and he has also been linked to influencer Lillian Chen.
