South Korean actress Go Soo Jung, who was seen in hit K-drama Goblin as well as the music video for BTS’s ‘With Seoul’, has passed away at the age of 24.
The sad news was announced today (Feb 12) by her agency, Story J Company, who also revealed that a private funeral was held on February 9 with her family in attendance.
“We will always remember her and her radiant smile that lit up the world,” they said.

In another statement, the agency confirmed that the Soo Jung's death was caused by an illness, though they didn't reveal more details. However, Korean netizens have said that she was suffering from a brain tumour — a speculation that has neither been confirmed nor denied by her agency. Some even speculated that she may have died in January.

Soo Jung, who would’ve turned 25 in April, made her acting debut with a minor role in the wildly popular drama Goblin in 2016 before going on to appear in another series, Solomon’s Perjury, that same year.
She was also starred in the music video for BTS’s ‘With Seoul’, which was released in 2017.
