Thanks to social media, fans can see what their favourite celebrities are up to in their day-to-day lives, even if they’re no longer as active in showbiz or not making headlines every other day.

While Taiwanese singer Winnie Hsin isn’t retired, she’s been taking it a little slower in recent years, especially compared to her heyday in the ‘90s. Her last album Flow was released in 2016 and her last large-scale solo concert was almost two years ago.

So what has the 58-year-old, who is known for her crystal clear soprano voice, been up to lately? Well, according to her Weibo, travelling, eating, hanging out with friends, and giving occasional performances (at least, before the pandemic struck). Although she doesn’t exactly flood her feed with selfies, she does share some pics of herself every few weeks or so, and her latest update seems to have raised eyebrows.

On July 21, Winnie uploaded a few photos from her trip to Dongshi Forest Garden in Taichung with several friends, and netizens pointed out that her face looks “unrecognisable” in the shots.

However, they also praised her for looking well-maintained as she hardly has any wrinkles . Guess Winnie has also been busy keeping up her beauty routine.

Also, if you ask us, we don't think the baggy dress she had on was particularly flattering. Have you seen what she looks like in a mini skirt?

While Winnie, like everybody else, is getting older, she’s always been known to be young at heart, especially when it comes to her love life. A few years ago, she published an autobiography in which she looks back at seven of her most memorable romantic relationships and admitted that she tends to be more attracted to younger men (she has reportedly dated guys 15 to 20 years her junior).

However, the rare sighting of men on her socials has some wondering if Winnie has given up on love. Maybe she’s just taking things slow and enjoying life? Or has found someone but is choosing to keep it on the down-low? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
