A lot has been written about former Hongkong actress Chingmy Yau’s eldest daughter, Shum Yuet, and how she looks so much like her '90s screen goddess mother.

For years, Chingmy’s largely kept her daughters, 19-year-old Shum Yuet, 17-year-old Shum Yat, and 10-year-old Shum Sing, away from the spotlight. But now that her two elder daughters, Shum Yuet and Shum Yat are young adults, they’ve each started their own Instagram accounts.

And Shum Yuet, whose dad is Hongkong fashion mogul Sham Kar Wei, is becoming very popular indeed. Almost every single post Shum Yuet makes on her Instagram account more or less makes the news ‘cos well, she's gorgeous.

Case in point: this series of photos from her appearance at luxury brand Louis Vuitton’s event last week.

On the other hand, Shum Yat’s a little less keen on Instagram. While the 17-year-old does have an Instagram account, she’s only posted once, way back in 2019.

And soon enough, they managed to unearth a number of pictures of father and daughter over the years, just to further illustrate their point.
