Remember when the internet got all excited ‘cos they thought veteran Cantopop singer Kenny Bee’s 26-year-old daughter, Chloe, had tied the knot? Well, the news turned out to be fake.

Now netizens have shifted their focus to Kenny's 31-year-old son Nicholas.

On May 20, aka 'I Love You Day', Nicholas, who lives in the US, took to his Instagram to share a number of pictures taken with his girlfriend. He wrote: “Happy 520. The shirts I designed are a representation of our synergy and spiritual connection... I look forward to [wearing] this shirt for its whole lifespan.”

Screenshots of Nicholas’ post was soon shared online by fans, with some joking that his '70s style pineapple print shirt was “stolen from Kenny’s closet”.

Other netizens also noticed that Nicholas has lost weight.

According to Apple Daily, Nicholas used to be more introverted and would only share photos of his meals or of himself at the gym on social media. However, the website noted that Nicholas started posting more pics of him with his girlfriend after he successfully dropped the pounds.

That let netizens to wonder if it's a sign that Nicholas is ready to walk down the aisle with his girlfriend... 'cos apparently, that's the most logical conclusion to come to?

Kenny has two kids, Nicholas, and Chloe, from his previous marriage to controversial socialite-turned-actress Teresa Cheung. Their marriage ended in 1999, two years after it was revealed that Teresa was having an affair with billionaire businessman Edmund Chan.

In 2014, Kenny married his former assistant and long-time girlfriend Fan Jiang, who by then was already the mother of his two younger daughters, Eloise, 11, and Blythe, 16.
