Pace Wu Pregnant With 4th Child; Still No Wedding Plans With Billionaire Boyfriend
That’s four kids in five years for the couple.
Former Taiwanese actress Pace Wu recently made the news for giving her boyfriend’s hotelier mum two crystal dragons worth $175mil. (Yes, you read that figure right.) And just when you thought she wouldn’t be able to top that present, it was revealed that Pace, in fact, has another gift in store for her beau’s family. And this time, it’s the gift of life.
Pace, 40, recently announced that she’s pregnant with her fourth kid with Hongkong billionaire Ji Xiaobo. The couple has been in a relationship for the past five years, though it’s said that Xiaobo, 40, has no plans to marry Pace yet.
They already have three kids together — daughter Hilary, five, and sons, Hans, four, and Hudson, two. According to Pace, their fourth child is a girl and the star said she would be entering her second trimester next week.
So with so much going on for the couple, why aren’t they married?
After all, Pace had retired from showbiz when she became a mum and has since devoted her time to helping Xiaobo with his career and taking care of their kids. But it’s not like she hasn’t been, for the lack of a better term, compensated for her dedication to the family. Thanks to Xiaobo, Pace has amassed a fortune that’s said to be worth a massive NT23bil (S$1.03bil).
But some netizens say that things might not be as rosy for the couple in real life as appearances suggest. In May this year, Pace had organised a birthday party for their daughter but MIA that day was Xiaobo. But it wasn’t that he was a no-show as it was about where he had been. Turns out, he was out shopping with a “pretty girl”, which was made known when eagle-eyed netizens spotted the businessman, who’s been known to have dated many a starlet in the past, in the background of a live video posted by an influencer. Oops.
Still, now that they have kid number 4 on the way, maybe it’s about time Pace and her boyfriend finally make it official.
